VON’s Stand at the Vegan Animal Rights Conference 13th -14th April

VON’s Stand at the Vegan Animal Rights Conference 13th -14th April : Cultivating Connections and Advocacy VARC

The recent Vegan Animal Rights Conference (VARC) in Manchester provided a vibrant platform for organizations to converge, share ideas, and advocate for a compassionate and sustainable future. Among the exhibitors, the Vegan Organic Network (VON) proudly showcased its mission and values, fostering connections and collaboration within the thriving vegan community.

VON’s stand stood as a beacon of plant-based principles and organic practices. With informative leaflets detailing the benefits of veganic agriculture, attendees were invited to explore the intersection of veganism and environmental stewardship. The VON Map was on display and copies of the latest VON magazine given to all attendees signing up to the newsletter. We received 78 signatories.

Networking proved to be a cornerstone of VON’s conference experience. By forging connections with fellow exhibitors and attendees, the organization expanded its reach and laid the groundwork for future collaborations. Whether discussing sustainable farming techniques, sharing the VON Map or details of our educational initiative ‘Growing Nature Academy’, every interaction contributed to a growing network of like-minded individuals united in their commitment to animal rights and environmental sustainability.

One of the most rewarding aspects of VON’s participation was the sense of community it fostered. Amidst the flurry of presentations and workshops, the stand served as a gathering point for kindred spirits, offering a space for reflection, camaraderie, and shared purpose. In an increasingly interconnected world, events like the Vegan Animal Rights Conference remind us of the power of collective action and the importance of coming together to effect positive change.

(A big thanks to Dan, Cherry, Izaak, May and Michelle for representing VON.)
