Vegan Organic Network Data Protection and Privacy Policy 2018 This policy sets out how the Vegan Organic Network (VON) will collect, store and handle personal data collected from its members.

What data is held? VON holds contact details (which may include name, address, telephone number and email) which are provided by members at joining, or on annual renewal of membership.

Who holds the data? The information is stored on a database and can only be accessed by members of VON’s core working group in pursuance of the charity’s aims.

What is the data used for? The information is used to contact members when:
♦ sending VON’s magazines, either by post or digitally
♦ emailing occasional newsletters
♦ informing about occasional local events
♦ reminding about membership renewals

Members and their data? Members have the right to know what details we hold and can ask to have certain details removed from our membership spreadsheet, or all removed if they cease to be a member. To have personal details removed contact membership@veganorganic.net
