Rhonda-T Warren is a devoted gardener with more than four decades of experience. She has cultivated a variety of crops, including vegetables, sprouts, and mushrooms, and produced garlic for retail markets. In 2016, she founded Terra Farm Sanctuary, a non-profit dedicated to providing a safe and permanent home for rescued farmed animals. As a mentor and advocate, Rhonda-T actively promotes veganism and veganic farming practices, striving to educate others on ethical agriculture and the importance of animal freedoms.
Terra Farm Sanctuary provides a compassionate home for beings who have been victims of neglect, abuse, and fear, have retired from arduous labor, or are the unwanted products of factory farming and youth projects. We are a place of solace, where we respectfully allow our non-human family to live out their natural lives in peace.
Terra is certified as a veganic farm by NAVCS. We cultivate vegetables, herbs, mushrooms, and seeds that are entirely free from animal by-products and other animal-derived materials. Our farming practices strictly avoid pesticides, fungicides, or any substances that could harm local flora, wildlife, or the interconnected ecosystem. We offer specialty garlic and onions for sale.
We offer support in the transition of existing growing spaces into veganic gardens and provide guidance on creating new gardens without the use of animal inputs. Additionally, we offer valuable resources and information, addressing a wide range of inquiries from food ingredients to questions raised by non-vegans. Our aim is to assist anyone interested in ethical veganism with knowledgeable guidance and support.
