Animal Aid is the UK’s largest animal rights group and one of the longest established in the world, having been founded in 1977.

We campaign peacefully against all forms of animal abuse and promote cruelty-free living. We investigate and expose animal cruelty, and our undercover investigations and other evidence are often used by the media, bringing these issues to public attention.

About the festival
Following on from the incredible success of the Spirit of Manchester Festival 2014, Macc once again co-ordinated a city-wide celebration of community organisations in Manchester!

The festival was made up of a number of events organised by Manchester’s voluntary and community sector groups as a way of celebrating what they do and raising awareness for any support they may need.
